3. WHOLE FOODS 80% of the time and prioritize protein ~40g+ per meal

4. Weight training 3-5x weekly (schedule your workouts in your week just like a doctors appointment or meeting)

5. Cut out negative distractions (& people too)

6. Implement morning routine that is do-able and will set your day up for success

If you struggle, try winding down with a book instead of your phone, or establishing a consistent bedtime routine – it truly works wonders for overall productivity and mood. This foundational step is often overlooked but is crucial for any fitness glow up. And those 10,000 steps? They might seem daunting, but I've found creative ways to hit them. Taking walking breaks during work, parking further away, or even just going for an evening stroll with a podcast makes a huge impact. It's not just about burning calories; it's about staying active and boosting your daily energy. I've noticed a huge difference in my overall vitality since I started prioritizing movement outside of my structured workouts – it’s a simple yet powerful part of my exercise glow up. When it comes to nutrition, focusing on whole foods 80% of the time has been key. I used to overcomplicate things, but now I aim for a balanced healthy meal with plenty of protein, like chicken, fish, or plant-based options, at every sitting. Meal prepping on Sundays helps me stay on track throughout the week. Knowing I have nutritious options ready prevents me from reaching for less healthy choices when I'm busy or tired. This forms the backbone of any successful glow up transformation. Weight training, 3-5 times a week, has been instrumental in sculpting my body and building strength. Don't be intimidated by the gym! I started with simple compound exercises and gradually progressed. Seeing myself perform a lunge with dumbbells or lift heavier weights gives me such a sense of accomplishment.
