Even a quick 15-minute stroll during my lunch break makes a huge difference. I used to think I needed to block out an hour for a dedicated walk, but now I know that several short walks – whether it's around the block or exploring a new corner of my town – contribute significantly. Beyond just walking, I've started looking at my everyday tasks as opportunities to move more. You'd be surprised how many steps you can rack up while doing chores! When I'm cooking, for example, instead of standing still, I try to move around the kitchen more actively – walking to grab ingredients, pacing while waiting for water to boil, and even dancing a little while seasoning food.
