My friend and co worker wanted me to turn her hoodie into a pillow. Here is how it turned out.

One trick I’ve learned is to preserve the hood and front pocket in the design—they add character and functionality to the pillow. The hood can be positioned as a flap or decoration, and the pocket can hold remotes, phones, or snacks, making the pillow not only cozy but practical. If your hoodie features print or text, like the 'GIMME' shown in the image, try to center it on the pillow’s front for a bold statement piece. This enhances the personalized feel and reminds you of the original garment’s personality. This project is also excellent for recycling other clothing items and reducing waste. Overall, transforming a hoodie into a pillow feels rewarding and eco-friendly. It’s straightforward enough for beginners to try and perfect for anyone wanting to add a handmade touch to their living space.
