why the unknown feels heavy and what i’m learning

i’m not even gonna lie, the unknown has been eating me up lately. it’s that constant back-and-forth in my head—‘what if i fail? what if it’s not what i hoped? what if i’m not ready?’ it’s like carrying this invisible weight every day, and some days it’s heavier than others.

but i realized something: the unknown isn’t the problem, it’s me trying to control everything. i want to see the whole picture, to have the plan laid out perfectly, to avoid the risk. but that’s not faith, sis. faith is trusting God to work it out, even when i have no clue how. it’s scary, but i know staying in the same place is even scarier.

it’s like planting a seed. you can’t see what’s happening under the soil, and you might doubt if anything is even growing. but over time, if you trust the process, something beautiful starts to break through.

so here i am, choosing to let go. not perfectly, but intentionally. i’m reminding myself that the unknown isn’t a dead end—it’s a hallway, a transition to something better.

if you’re in the same place, trying to figure it all out, just know you’re not alone. we’re in this together, one step at a time.

drop a 🌿 if you’re stepping into your next chapter too.

... Read moreThe uncertainty of life can feel overwhelming, often manifesting as fear of failure or a longing for control. Many struggle with the question: 'What if I fail?' Understanding that this fear is universal can be a first step toward healing. In times of change, it's essential to cultivate resilience and trust the process. Embracing vulnerability allows for growth, much like a seed buried underground expected to flourish over time. It's crucial to recognize that while we cannot see the path ahead, each step forward is a part of a greater journey. Individual stories of overcoming adversity can offer encouragement and strength. Joining communities or sharing experiences on platforms can foster support, allowing individuals to connect over shared feelings of apprehension. Small reminders, such as daily affirmations or mindfulness practices, can also help in letting go of the need for certainty. Remember that the unknown is not a dead end; it can lead to beautiful transitions in life.
