It’s not too spicy, which makes it perfect for those new to Indian flavors, and it pairs beautifully with almost everything. Trust me, you'll want to scoop up every last bit of that sauce. Another absolute must-try that stole my heart is Dosa. This crispy, thin pancake, usually made from a fermented batter of rice and lentils, is a revelation. I had mine with a delicious potato masala filling, which added a wonderful savory and slightly spiced texture. Eating it with your hands, tearing off pieces, and dipping it into various chutneys and sambar (a lentil-based vegetable stew) is part of the fun. It’s light, satisfying, and incredibly flavorful – a truly unique experience. For a complete experience, having it alongside some fluffy white rice is a must! And let's not forget the essential accompaniments! Soft, warm Naan bread is perfect for soaking up all those amazing curries. There are different types too, like garlic naan or butter naan, each adding its own twist. I also noticed dishes like Chicken Tikka Masala on the menu and saw it on other tables; it looked incredible and is definitely on my list for next time. It’s similar to butter chicken but often has a smoky, grilled flavor profile from the chicken. And don't forget a refreshing side salad to balance the richness of the main dishes! My tip for beginners: don't be afraid to ask your server for recommendations or to explain dishes. They can guide you through the menu and help you find something that suits your spice preference. Trying a little bit of everything, perhaps sharing a few dishes with friends, is a fantastic way to explore the diverse flavors.
