Witchcraft can be very tiring and time consuming. With our current societies demand on our time and energy it can be really hard to make time for a fulfilling practice. Here are some of my tips to make it work when you’re busy or just exhausted from life.

When life gets hectic, finding time for elaborate rituals can feel impossible. But what if I told you that even powerful intentions, like those for love, can be woven into a simple, accessible practice? That's where a love spell jar comes in – it's one of my favorite ways to manifest love without overcomplicating things.
When I first started my craft, I thought I needed rare herbs and fancy crystals for every spell. But I quickly learned to get creative with spell ingredients, using what I already had around the house or could easily find. For a love spell jar, you don't need much! Think rose petals from a wilting bouquet, a pinch of cinnamon from your spice rack, or a bay leaf from your pantry. These everyday items, infused with your intention, become incredibly potent.
Here’s how I put together a simple love spell jar for attracting more self-love, friendship, or even romantic connection:
Gather Your Jar: Any small glass jar with a lid works perfectly. Cleanse it physically and spiritually (a quick smoke cleanse or even just washing it with intention).
Choose Your Herbs & Spices:
Rose petals: For love, beauty, self-love.
Cinnamon: For passion, speeding up intentions, warmth.
Bay leaf: For wishes, intention setting (write your wish on it!).
Lavender: For peace, harmony, gentle attraction.
Sugar/Honey: For sweetness, attracting good things.
Pink Himilayan Salt: For protection and purification.
Add Personal Touches: A small piece of jewelry, a lock of hair (if for a specific person, but usually I focus on general attraction or self-love), or a written intention on a small piece of paper.
Layer with Intention: As you add each ingredient, focus on your desire. Visualize the love you want to attract or cultivate. Speak your intention aloud. For example, as I add rose petals, I might say, "May my heart be open to giving and receiving love."
Seal It: Close the jar tightly. You can seal it with wax from a pink or red candle for extra power.
Charge and Place: Hold the jar, meditate on your intention, and let your energy flow into it. Then, place it in a prominent spot where you'll see it often, like your altar, bedside table, or even on your work desk to remind you of your intention throughout the day. I often work spells into mundane activities by simply holding my jar for a few moments while having my morning tea, reinforcing my intention daily.
Remember, the most powerful ingredient in any spell is you and your intention. This isn't about manipulating others; it's about aligning your energy with the love you wish to attract into your life. Keep it simple, keep it personal, and trust in the magic you create!
