2024 has been a transformative year filled with personal growth and memorable experiences. One of the key lessons I've learned is the importance of self-love; it’s essential to love yourself fully before you can truly appreciate others. Traveling to Iowa marked my first Midwest adventure and allowed me to witness snow for the first time in over a decade. This fresh experience reminded me of the beauty of discovering new places and embracing change. Trying out wigs after cutting my hair has been another creative journey. I've felt more confident than ever with my first real wig, which has helped me express my evolving style. Additionally, my pre-teen celebrated their 12th birthday, a milestone that brought joy and nostalgia. Celebrating my 39th birthday at a club was a thrilling experience; it was my first time using hookah and dancing freely among friends. Getting a thigh-high tattoo felt empowering, symbolizing my journey into management and receiving the Rising Star award at work. These moments reflect not just events, but the core values of embracing change, celebrating personal milestones, and the significance of loving oneself.
