Remember what matters today, life is short and fleeting and none of us are promised long. How are you spending your time?
I spent about 18 hours animating this piece, making it one of my longest shorts to date. I wanted the sky and setting to feel realistic, moreso than any other I’d done and I feel confident I nailed the lighting. How come rest stops and random places you never intend to go are always the most impactful?
That’s what this reminded me of, just those beautiful often forgotten, or forgettable moments, that become irreplaceable memories that you can never shake.
Love is a beautiful gift even in a world where some feel as though they have none, know that there’s a period for all things, and everything comes when it’s meant to.

When I first watched this animation, inspired by the phrase “Isn’t it funny how much time we thought we had?”, it reminded me how easily we underestimate the value of simple experiences. In my own experience, places like rest stops or quiet corners of the world often hold more emotional weight than grand events.
