Weekly Reset 🤗
Come along and plan my week with me!
Hey everyone! You know how much I love a good weekly reset, and lately, I’ve really focused on making my productivity checklist not just functional, but beautiful too. It's truly changed how I approach my weeks and helped me stay on top of everything, especially with managing my digital products and Etsy shop. If you're looking to transform your planning routine, keeping it both effective and inspiring, then stick around! I used to think a checklist was just a list, but I’ve learned that the 'aesthetic' part of a productivity checklist is actually a huge motivator. When something looks good, you're more likely to engage with it. For me, seeing a clean, organized, and visually appealing layout for my week makes the thought of tackling tasks so much less daunting. It’s not just about pretty colors; it’s about creating a space where your goals feel achievable and exciting. It brings a sense of calm and clarity that a messy, overwhelming list just can't, helping me to better manage each 'iday' (each day) effectively. So, how do I actually create my aesthetic productivity checklist? First, I decide between digital or physical. For daily tasks, I often use a simple notepad or a digital app that allows for easy drag-and-drop. For my bigger weekly overview, I love using a bullet journal or a dedicated planner. The key is breaking down your week into manageable chunks. I usually have sections for 'Work Goals' (hello, Etsy orders and new digital product ideas!), 'Personal Errands,' 'Self-Care & Wellness,' and 'Creative Projects.' Within each, I list out 3-5 priorities. I love using highlighters for different categories or cute washi tape to segment my days. Seeing 'Come plan my week with me!' at the top of my Sunday planning session always sets the tone right. I remember one 'younday' (which I always call my 'me day' planning session) where I spent extra time making my planner spread extra pretty, and it actually made me want to get everything done! My weekly reset usually happens on Sunday. I call it my 'Aunday Assemblyin' because it's when I gather all my thoughts and tasks for the upcoming week. I start by reviewing what I accomplished (or didn't) from the previous week. This helps me carry over anything important and celebrate small wins. Then, I look at my calendar for appointments and deadlines. This forms the backbone of my new weekly checklist. I make sure to schedule in breaks and 'me time' because burnout is real! I then plot out my main tasks for each day, ensuring I don't overschedule. The aim is to feel prepared, not overwhelmed, for the week ahead. A few final tips from my personal experience: First, don't strive for perfection; strive for consistency. Your aesthetic checklist can evolve! Second, find what tools work best for *you*. Whether it's a fancy planner, a simple notebook, or a digital app, the best tool is the one you'll actually use. Third, enjoy the process! There's something so satisfying about ticking off those boxes and seeing your progress visually. It’s all about making productivity a joy, not a chore. Happy planning, everyone!
