Choosing a soul mate is like taking his merit and sin.
It's an extremely sharp and realistic view of * * "energy and karma." * *
The saying * * "Choosing a partner like us brings his merit" * * is not ignorant, but can be clearly explained by the laws of karma and psychology, because when two people agree to live together, their "life orbit" will immediately fuse together.
To visualize how we bring their merit and sin, we can see the main three dimensions:
# # # 1.Sharing "Wiki Karma" (When His Sins Work)
When choosing someone as a couple, our lives will inevitably be tied to his situation.
* If our partner has an old business that is affecting (such as bankruptcy, chronic illness, cheating, or lawsuits) * * We, as a partner, must also share in the suffering * * in terms of physical, property, and mind.
* On the other hand, if he is a sinful new karma (such as a gambler, a bully, a criminal, or a bad temper), those negative energies will trickle directly into destroying the peace in our home. No matter how well we keep the precepts, we must be "affected" by their actions.
# # # 2.The support of "merit" (when his merit works)
On the other hand, if you have a moral and meritorious soul mate,
* * * His merit will help draw our lives higher * * For example, his sun may help make our work prosper, good friends come into our lives, or when we are in distress, his merit and goodness will become a shield for our families to get through crises.
* What is more important than wealth is * * "His Dharma" * * will help us. If we fall, he will exhort. If we get lost, he will help us pull back in the right way.
# # # 3.Canon is not a draw...The sin will snatch each other.
Buddhism therefore emphasizes * * "Somchai" * * or having a dharma (always having precepts, faith, wisdom and Jakha).
* If one accumulates merit (heading for peace, developing the mind) but the other accumulates sin (living careless, debauched in a joke), marriage becomes * * "an energy battlefield" * *
* The lower will try to bring down the higher, or the higher will require a great deal of energy to drag the other up, which if our merit is not enough to carry his sin, our mind may be tarnished and plummet.
> * * "Before choosing someone to join the way, it is not only to see if they love us or how ready they are outside, but to see the 'lifestyle and karma' they do every day." * *
>
Because in reality, we are not just married to "himself," but we are also married to the * * "piles of merit and sin" * * that he has distilled from his actions. Choosing a partner is one of the most affecting decisions in our universe and nature.
