Plans vs. Reality
Not every goal looks the way you planned and that’s okay because I’m following God’s plan anyway 🤍
This year didn’t unfold how I imagined on paper. The numbers weren’t what I hoped for. The timeline shifted. But what did happen was deeper than a checklist ever could be.
I created things I once only prayed about.
I learned how to build from the ground up.
I stayed obedient even when it felt slow.
And I grew closer to God with every step forward and every pause.
Sometimes the goal isn’t the number. It’s the becoming. It’s the trust. It’s learning that God’s plan doesn’t rush and it never misses.

Sometimes, life’s journey doesn’t go as we originally planned, especially when it comes to our most heartfelt goals. While you might have had specific milestones in mind for the year, like reaching a certain number of followers or hitting a financial target by 2026, it’s important to remember that those numbers aren’t the full story. In reality, the process of becoming and growing — spiritually and personally — is often richer and more meaningful than a simple checklist. For example, even if your original goal of hitting 2,000 followers wasn’t reached, significant accomplishments such as publishing six Christian journals, building a website from scratch, and launching a faith apparel collection represent tangible progress that supports your passion and purpose. These achievements reflect obedience, creativity, and dedication, illustrating that progress is not always linear or measurable by traditional standards. Moreover, maintaining faith and growing closer to God through every step, pause, and challenge along the way shapes your character and trust in His timing. God’s plan is often slower than we desire, but it is precise and filled with growth opportunities that aren’t always obvious at first glance. If you are feeling behind or disappointed as the year ends, it helps to shift perspective: consider where you have grown, the new skills you’ve developed, and the small victories that align with God’s path for you. Faith teaches that these moments matter deeply because the ultimate goal isn’t simply a number or outcome, but becoming the person meant to fulfill your unique divine purpose. So as you reflect on your year, remember that being exactly where you’re supposed to be means success in God’s eyes. Trust in His plan, embrace the unexpected achievements, and continue building with patience, obedience, and faith. This mindset can transform frustration into gratitude and drive renewed motivation for what lies ahead.
