Sabrina Carpenter's Lemon Pie Perfume
Ok, this opens very creamy--a super creamy lemon, slightly lactonic. Then it morphs into lemon sugar wafer cookies, which is lovely as well. The mid-drydown is more of a tart lemon and is slightly less foody on me but it once again morphs into a tart lemon/graham crackery creamy lemon pie. Very delicious, cute bottle, super affordable. Longevity and sillage are minimal, sadly. But as cheap as this is, I don't mind. Worth it! #celebrityperfume #sabrina carpenter
Okay, so I finally got my hands on Sabrina Carpenter's Lemon Pie Perfume, and I have to spill all the tea! My first impression, just like many of you, was pure *creamy lemon dream*. It truly opens with this luscious, almost custardy lemon note that isn't sharp or acidic at all. It has that lovely lactonic quality, which makes it feel incredibly comforting and edible, but not overly sugary. It's like a warm hug on a cloudy day! As it settles, that's when the magic truly happens. For me, it transitioned beautifully into those delightful lemon sugar wafer cookies. You know the ones – light, airy, and delicately sweet with a zesty lemon filling. It's a playful twist that keeps the scent from being too heavy. Then, it morphs again, revealing a slightly tarter lemon, which is fantastic because it balances out the initial sweetness. This tartness gives it a more sophisticated edge before it ultimately dries down into what I can only describe as a perfect lemon/graham crackery creamy lemon pie. It’s like baking a fresh pie, but without the calories! Now, let's talk about the big question: longevity and sillage. The original review mentioned it's minimal, and I completely agree. On my skin, it lasts about 2-3 hours before becoming a very intimate skin scent. The sillage is also quite soft, meaning it stays close to you. This might be a downside for some, but honestly, for a fragrance this affordable, I don't mind reapplying! I usually carry a travel spray with me, or I layer it over a complementary body lotion to extend its life. It's perfect for those days when you want a subtle, feel-good scent that's just for you, or for close encounters where you don't want to overwhelm anyone. Despite the modest staying power, the "worth it" factor on Sabrina's Lemon is incredibly high. The bottle itself is adorable and looks chic on any vanity. More importantly, the scent profile is unique and genuinely delicious. It’s not just another generic celebrity perfume; it truly captures that cozy, gourmand lemon pie vibe. I'd recommend it for anyone who loves gourmand scents, especially those who appreciate a lemon note that's sweet and creamy rather than sharp. It’s a fantastic pick-me-up for any time of year, but I particularly love it for spring and fall. Think brunch dates, casual outings, or just lounging at home wanting to smell utterly delightful. For the price, you get a genuinely delightful and unique fragrance experience. Don't go into it expecting beast mode performance, but rather a charming, sweet treat that's perfect for a personal indulgence. Sabrina Carpenter really delivered a gem with this one, proving that sometimes the most affordable perfumes can bring the biggest smiles!
