Nakhon Nakhon Nakhon Province Dimensional Gate
The Temple of the Gospel (also spelled as the Temple of the Gospel) is an old temple and one of the major Unseen tourist attractions located in Bang Oh, Ban Na District, Nakhon Nayok Province, very famous for its beautiful, mysterious and magical nature architecture. [1, 2]
🌟 Highlights and sacred things not to be missed.
The main highlight of the temple is the glass-walled arch and the 150-year-old base, which is surrounded and clamped by the roots of a naturally large Bodhi tree, becoming a popular doorway for people to walk through and pray for good luck.
The Royal Temple of Grandfather: The place of the handsome and aromatic enshrinement of Luang Grandfather (Teacher Satthabhinan), a former abbot who respected the faith of the villagers, with whom he had been a co-founder of the temple since the past.
8-square pavilion: An old pavilion with historic engravings indicating the passing and visit of the city of Nakhon Nakhon Phra Nakhon (reign 5) [1, 4].
📜 A Brief History
Originally, the temple was called "Bang Bong Temple," built in the late days of Sriyutthaya to the beginning of the 5th reign. Later, the old bulb fell into disrepair over time, but the roots of the Bodhi tree grew up, and Chonchai took hold of the old brick structure from collapsing, creating a beautiful image as if it had fallen into another dimension. Now, the temple has built a new bulb to allow the Buddha to perform religious rituals conveniently. [1, 3, 4, 5, 6]
