If you feel like someone’s watching you…

It’s probably me…

📌 The Art of People-Watching

Step 1: Find the perfect spot. Step 2: Observe with intense focus. Step 3: Silently judge (with love).

📍 Teddy-approved spots:

✔️ Café patio – Ideal for staring at brunch plates 🍳

✔️ Park bench – Maximum foot traffic 🏞️

✔️ Apartment window – VIP views from above 🏙️

✔️ Car rides – Mobile observation unit 🚗

💭 What’s going on in a people-watching poodle’s mind?

• “Why are they running? Where are they going?”

• “That person looks like they have snacks…

• “Suspicious behavior = Engaging side-eye.”

Does your furry friend love to people-watch too?

... Read moreAs a fellow pet parent, I totally get the joy (and sometimes, the slight embarrassment!) of having a dog who's constantly observing the world around them. My little Poodle, Teddy, isn't just people-watching for fun; there's actually a lot going on behind those curious eyes! You might wonder, 'Why does my dog love to people-watch so much?' Well, it's often a mix of natural instincts and pure curiosity. Dogs are incredibly social animals, and observing humans and other creatures is how they learn about their environment and understand social cues. For some dogs, it's just a way to stay entertained, especially if they're naturally observant breeds like Poodles, who are known for their intelligence and awareness. They're basically gathering data on the world! I've learned that watching people can actually be a really enriching activity for our pups. It provides mental stimulation, keeping their brains active as they process all the sights, sounds, and smells. Think of it like their own version of binge-watching a fascinating documentary! It’s also an opportunity for them to feel included in our human activities, even if they’re just silently judging from the side. However, it's also important to differentiate between curious observation and anxious staring. If your dog seems stressed, growls, or barks excessively while people-watching, it might be a sign of anxiety or territorial behavior, and it's always best to consult with a vet or a professional dog trainer in such cases. But for most dogs, it's a happy, calm activity. To make people-watching a positive experience for your dog (and for you!), I have a few tips I've picked up with Teddy: Choose a safe, comfortable spot: Like the article mentions, a quiet café patio or a park bench away from the main hustle is ideal. Make sure your dog feels secure and isn't overwhelmed. Bring a favorite blanket or bed: This creates a 'safe zone' for them to relax in while they observe. Positive reinforcement: If your dog is calmly watching, offer quiet praise or a small treat. This reinforces the idea that calm observation is a good thing. Observe together: Sometimes I'll point things out to Teddy (like a squirrel or another dog, even if he doesn't fully understand), just to share the moment. It deepens our bond! Know when to take a break: If your dog starts to seem restless or bored, it's time to move on to a different activity. People-watching isn't just a quirky habit; it's a window into our dogs' inner worlds and a beautiful way they interact with their surroundings. Embracing these unique behaviors can truly strengthen the bond we share with our furry companions. So next time your dog is intently staring, take a moment to wonder what fascinating thoughts are swirling in their adorable mind!

Ladies, stop falling for potential and start watching character.
As a woman of God, you need more than a man who knows church language, posts Bible verses, or looks spiritual in public. A man can quote scripture and still lack the character of Christ. The fruit will always expose what words try to hide. A godly man is not just someone who says “God told me,”

Watching someone try to get clarity by journaling
Soft truth: mindset work without body work is incomplete. If you’re still: • overthinking • snapping at your kids • exhausted for no reason • feeling “stuck” It’s not a personality flaw. It’s dysregulation + stagnation. We regulate. We clear. We nourish. Then clarity comes naturally.
