Study/work friendly cafe in chinatown 📚

Muro Coffee Chinatown

📍Address: 214a S Bridge Rd, Singapore 058763

The food pricing is not too bad but drinks wise the prices are standard cafe prices of about $8-$9 for matchas and other specialty drinks with coffees around $7

🛒Product Item:

Acai bowl: $9.90

👍Why I like it:

It was not very crowded when I went and I saw a few other people working there with their laptops but there didnt seem to be any plugs there. There is also a space on top of the staircase that gives a more cozy vibe if you want more privacy

I appreciated that during my visit, the atmosphere was calm with few patrons, creating a conducive environment for concentration. Although the cafe lacks visible power outlets near the tables, which is something to consider if you need to charge devices for extended hours, the upstairs space near the staircase offers a more secluded ambiance ideal for uninterrupted productivity. The pricing is reasonable, especially given the central location—specialty coffees hover around $7 and matcha drinks at $8-$9, which is typical for Singapore cafes. The acai bowl was a highlight for me, priced at $9.90, serving as a healthy and energizing snack to keep me going. Given its quieter ambiance compared to busier spots nearby, it’s an excellent place to work remotely or study, especially if you don’t require constant access to power outlets. A tip for visitors: bring a fully charged laptop and perhaps a power bank to ensure uninterrupted work sessions. Also, visiting during off-peak hours might reward you with better seating options and more privacy. Overall, Muro Coffee Chinatown blends good food and drink options with a relaxing environment, making it a hidden gem for those needing a study or work-friendly café in Chinatown.
