From personal experience, starting with heavy belt squats sets the tone by activating all parts of the quadriceps and surrounding muscles. Warming up with lighter sets helps prevent injury and prepares your body for heavy loads. Leg presses are great for pushing your quads to the limit, especially when done until failure. I find that focusing on 4-6 heavy reps per set really targets the muscle fibers needed for growth. It’s important to maintain good form to avoid strain and get the most out of each rep. Single leg extensions provide balance and help address any strength imbalances between legs. Doing about 6 reps per side allows for focused muscle engagement without overtraining. Finishing with regular leg extensions or Bulgarian split squats is an excellent strategy. These exercises isolate the quads and challenge stability and flexibility, which contributes to overall muscular development. Consistency with this routine, combined with proper nutrition and rest, can lead to noticeable improvements in quad size and strength. Remember to listen to your body and gradually increase weights for sustainable progress.
