Self-reclamation

4/1 Edited to

... Read moreIn my personal journey toward self-reclamation, I found that the critical turning point was when I stopped abandoning myself—the moment I chose to break free from survival patterns that had dominated my life for years. These patterns, often deeply rooted in trauma and unconscious programming, felt like obstacles that kept me stuck in a cycle of merely surviving rather than truly living. By learning about the nervous system and how it governs stress responses, I began to understand why old survival habits were so hard to change. Practices such as mindfulness, breath work, and grounding exercises helped me gently regulate my nervous system, creating space for healing and transformation. Integrating shadow work was another profound step; facing the hidden parts of myself that I had long denied was challenging but essential for authentic growth. I also embraced spiritual practices that nurtured my inner self and connected me with a greater sense of purpose. This holistic approach—combining nervous system healing, shadow work, and spirituality—enabled me to shift from merely surviving to thriving. The process is ongoing, but each moment of self-reclamation fuels further movement and change. For any woman seeking to reclaim herself, remember: the moment you stop abandoning yourself, everything starts changing.
