While in Japan, you gottaTry out convience store I

It’s my second time with my boyfriend visiting Japan, and each night we always end our day with going to a convience store! No matter what I always end up buying at least two ice cream pieces, sometimes even ending up with four! Like for the price I can get one piece of ice cream it’s like a buy one get one deal in the states lolol.

I personally loved the vanilla ice cream cup I got out of the three that I showed but they all tasted pretty good!

So when in Japan, I highly suggust marking sure you visit a convience store and check out what they have in stock!

... Read moreWhen visiting Japan, one of the most delightful and budget-friendly experiences is exploring the variety of ice creams available at convenience stores, commonly known as "konbini." These stores, including popular chains like 7-Eleven, offer a wide range of flavors and unique treats that you often can’t find outside Japan. One standout treat is the SEVEN& PREMIUM まっしろもこもこ しろもこパフェ, or White Chocolate & Vanilla Parfait. This parfait combines smooth white chocolate ice cream with rich vanilla and crunchy cookie crumbs, giving a delightful texture contrast. Another favorite is the AKAGI しっとりクッキープリンサンド, which features creamy caramel sauce and a moist cookie sandwich. These exciting ice cream options are often priced comparably to a single ice cream bar in other countries, but with a mix-and-match or buy-one-get-one feel, making it easy to indulge more. The chocolate and milk waffle cone flavors also deserve a try, combining rich, creamy textures with a crisp cone base. Don't hesitate to explore seasonal or limited-edition ice cream varieties in these stores—they often feature Japanese-inspired flavors that beautifully reflect the local palate. Aside from ice cream, Japanese convenience stores are treasure troves for snacks, meals, and drinks that cater to all tastes and budgets. They operate late into the night, making them perfect for after-dinner desserts or late-night cravings. So next time you travel to Japan, make visiting konbini ice cream aisles a must on your itinerary. Not only are they affordable, but they also offer a tasty glimpse into Japan’s unique food culture, making your trip even sweeter!
