Activated This Morning! Sky Walk. Holy - Bangkok Christian. Ready to connect safe travel.
Bangkok spokesman Ekvaranu Amrapal revealed that the skywalk, the pedestrian link between the BTS Surat MTR station to the pedestrian bridge in front of the Bangkok Christian School, Sathorn District, is officially open today from 7 a.m.
For the construction project of an elevated walkway (Skywalk) from BTS Station, S5 is connected to a pedestrian bridge across the street in front of Bangkok Christian School, approximately 110 meters in length, to promote mass transit travel, increase the efficiency of mass transit service, including to provide the public with ease and safety of travel to change travel.
Skywalk will also help to address traffic congestion on North Sathorn Road, especially the morning rush hour with school children and parents having to walk across, cut off a lot of frowning roads to get to school. Walking on Skywalk, an elevated walkway, will help increase life and property safety for commuters, reduce accidents, reduce traffic problems and facilitate, as well as encourage the use of mass transit to travel.
According to the project plan, the construction period was 210 days, from July 7, 68 to February 1, 69, which was completed 121 days ahead of schedule!
