BMA Landscape Improvement Celebrate Lumbini Garden 100 Years 🌳💚

"Lumbini Park," Thailand's first park, was born in 1957. In 1925, from Siam State Museum, by the will of His Majesty King King King King King King King King King VI, to the public forest area, Lumbini Park became the first public park in Thailand. In 2025, Lumbini Park will reach 100 years of age, which has been through the accumulation of people's memories, historical, cultural, environmental values, and witnessed countless important events. Bangkok has established a project to improve Lumbini Park to provide a pleasant, beautiful, modern public green space that can respond to the way of life of the modern people and conform to the development of the city.

📍 Lumbini Park is currently under construction and renovation in various parts as follows:

1. Construction of the Green Bridge with Lumbini Park. Progress 21.78%

2.Construction of Hawker Center Gate 5, progress 21.74%

3. Construction of the fence around King Rama VI, 43% progress

4. Renovation of the clock tower by private support, 30% progress

5.Construction of Dog Park by private support, 40% progress

6. Improve stretch yard with private support, progress 95%

7. Improve the playground and exercise yard. Progress 35%.

8. Improve the moat inside Lumbini Park on Rama 4 road side, progress 1%.

9. Renovation of the 72 Lent Memorial Pavilion (Chinese Shad) by private support. Progress of 40%

10. Improve Lumbini Garden Fence on Rama 4 Road Side, Progress 34%

11. Improve the People's Library. Progress 15%.

As part of Bangkok's mission to carry out the commemoration activities, it includes the renovation of the landscape surrounding Lumbini Park and the Director of Sites in conjunction with the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office and related departments, the organization of the Nursing Tent Resident Nursing Medical Unit and the Mobile Nursing Medical Unit for the duration of the event.
