Don't be complacent! The dangers of hot sun. During hot weather, people who work outdoors are vulnerable to diseases and heat hazards should be aware and learn how to prevent them properly. Knowing about the symptoms and taking care of themselves is important.
Diseases and conditions to watch out for
Heatstroke: Hot, blushing, dizzy, with seizures or unconsciousness.
Sunny fatigue: exhaustion, dark face, nauseous eyes, sweating a lot.
Sunny cramps: Muscle pain (stomach / arm / leg) due to water loss
Hot Rash: Itchy Rash Along The Skin
Sunburn Skin: Red, Burning Skin
How to protect yourself
Drink water: Drink clean water often or drink mineral salt.
Dodge the sun: Reduce work in the sun from 11 to 3 p.m.
Skin Protection: Apply sunscreen, wear a hat, or spread an umbrella.
Clothes: Wear light clothes. Very airy, breathable.
Observe Yourself: People with Congenital Disease, Insufficient Rest
Abstaining from alcohol: because it causes the body to lose water and mineral salt faster than usual.
First Aid
- Get the patient in the shade or the air-conditioned room.
- Remove clothes sparingly to cool.
- Use a cold moistened cloth to compress the crook, neck, forehead.
- Drink cold water if still conscious.
- If unconscious, take it to the hospital immediately.
