สำหรับหลายคน การเลือกตั้งผู้ว่าราชการกรุงเทพมหานครและสมาชิกสภากรุงเทพมหานครที่กำลังจะมาถึงในวันที่ 28 มิถุนายน 2569 ถือเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการมีส่วนร่วมทางการเมืองระดับท้องถิ่น ซึ่งผลของการเลือกตั้งครั้งนี้จะส่งผลโดยตรงต่อการบริหารจัดการและพัฒนากรุงเทพมหานครในระยะยาว จากข้อมูลที่ประกาศไว้ ไม่มีการเลือกตั้งล่วงหน้าหรือนอกเขตเลือกตั้ง ทำให้ผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งต้องเตรียมตัวและวางแผนล่วงหน้า เพื่อให้สามารถไปใช้สิทธิที่หน่วยเลือกตั้งที่ลงทะเบียนไว้ในวันนั้นวันเดียวเท่านั้น นี่จึงเป็นความสำคัญอย่างมากที่ต้องตรวจสอบรายชื่อและสถานที่ลงคะแนนก่อนวันเลือกตั้ง หากเกิดเหตุสุดวิสัย เช่น ต้องเดินทางไปต่างจังหวัดหรือป่วย สามารถแจ้งเหตุผ่านระบบออนไลน์ได้ทั้งก่อนและหลังวันเลือกตั้งภายในระยะเวลาที่กำหนด ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องที่หลายคนอาจไม่ทราบมาก่อน การแจ้งเหตุนี้ช่วยปกป้องสิทธิทางการเมืองไม่ให้ถูกจำกัดในอนาคตได้ ผมเองได้ติดตามนโยบายแต่ละทีมผู้สมัคร โดยเฉพาะ “ทีมชัชชาติ” ที่มีนโยบายหลากหลายมากกว่า 260 ข้อ โดยสามารถเยี่ยมชมได้ผ่านหน้าโปรไฟล์ของผู้สมัคร ลักษณะการเลือกตั้งปีนี้ใช้บัตรสองสี คือ บัตรสีเขียวสำหรับเลือกผู้ว่าฯ และบัตรสีชมพูสำหรับเลือกสมาชิกสภากรุงเทพมหานคร เป็นระบบที่ทำให้เข้าใจง่ายและลดความสับสน นอกจากนี้ การเลือกผู้ว่าฯ และ ส.ก. ในวันเดียวกัน ยังสะท้อนความสำคัญของการเลือกตั้งในระดับท้องถิ่นที่มีผลกระทบต่อชีวิตประจำวันของคนกรุงเทพฯ ทั้งเรื่องการเดินทาง ปัญหาน้ำท่วม สิ่งแวดล้อม และความปลอดภัย จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว การไปใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้งเป็นการแสดงออกถึงความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมอย่างหนึ่ง การไปลงทะเบียนและเตรียมตัวล่วงหน้าช่วยลดความกังวลในวันจริง อีกทั้งอย่าลืมตรวจสอบข้อมูลข่าวสารอย่างสม่ำเสมอผ่านช่องทาง Facebook ของกรุงเทพมหานคร หรือเว็บไซต์ที่กำหนด เพื่อรับทราบข่าวสารล่าสุดและข้อมูลสำคัญอื่นๆ เช่น สถานที่เลือกตั้งหรือหมายเลขหน่วยเลือกตั้ง สำหรับใครที่ไม่สะดวกในวันเลือกตั้งก็อย่าลืมแจ้งเหตุอย่างถูกต้องเพื่อไม่ให้เสียสิทธิ์ลงคะแนนในครั้งต่อไป สุดท้ายนี้ อยากเชิญชวนทุกคนที่มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งมาใช้สิทธิอย่างเต็มที่ เพราะเสียงของเราสำคัญต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงเมืองกรุงเทพฯ ให้เป็นเมืองที่น่าอยู่และส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีของทุกคน ผมเองด้วยจะไปใช้สิทธิและเชียร์ทีมที่มีวิสัยทัศน์ชัดเจนเพื่อพัฒนาเมืองต่อไป
