Let's remember five simple warning signs called 'F.A.S.T.'.
F (Face drooping) Face weakness / distortion 🤨 Try to make the patient smile or stick out his tongue. If one corner of his mouth falls or his tongue is corked, there is a problem.
A (Arm weakness): The arm is weak. 🤲 Try to have the patient raise two arms at the same time. If one arm falls or does not lift, there is a problem.
S (Speech difficulty) Difficult to speak / unclear 🗣️ Try to have the patient speak a simple sentence or give their name. If you talk to yourself, you don't know or you don't understand, you have a problem.
T (Time to call emergency) Time to call emergency. 📞 This is the most important thing! If you find one of the above symptoms, don't wait! Hurry and call 1669 immediately! Every second is worth in a stroke situation! ⏳
Remember, the sooner you reach the doctor's hand, the higher your chances of survival and disability reduction! Don't hesitate to call the emergency medical unit, because that may save your loved one's life! ❤️
