"King Topaz," a beautiful orchid with a cold water forest.
Eulophilia flava, a rare ground orchid, produces a bright yellow bouquet in the season of juicy rain in the fertile forest of Nile Water National Park, Phetchabun Province.
This ground orchid has an underground head of about 3-5 inches. During the dry season, Ueng Topaz will rest and stop growing and will produce leaves again when it enters the rainy season, and then will stab a large bouquet from the head, an upright, elegant bouquet up to 1-2.6 meters high.
Each bouquet is quite sheer, consisting of 30-50 bright yellow sub-flowers that bloom between May and July, a rare natural beauty.
