"Ueng Sarabhi," a beauty from the Royal Slang National Park.
Gastrochilus bellinus is a small orchid, about 5-10 centimeters tall, with a parallel edge leaf about 9-15 centimeters long.
The flowers form bouquets along the axils of the leaves, and are tightly arranged into beautiful round bushes. The calyx and petals are light yellow-green, tinged with tiny piggy blood dots spread across the petals. The corolla part has a wide spread tip and fine white hairs. The middle part of the petals is yellow-tinged and dashed dark pink. This particular orchid is particularly attractive.
It is found along the montane forests of northern and northeastern Thailand. The flowering period is between February and November.
