Snake Thao camouflage in the forest of White Sands Falls National Park

Vine snake or honeysuckle snake dryophiops rubescens

The diurnal group of snakes is shaped and colorful, blending with branches, grass leaves, "vine snakes," is another kind where the shape, the color, can camouflage itself well, difficult to observe.

From a slender, long shape, a small flat head, with a brown band girded through the sides of the tip of the nose on both sides, to a neck range, a bright red tongue, relatively large round eyes, a square iris, a yellow-brown body, oranges, there is also a vegetative branch-like widow pattern, a dash-patterned head, under the neck and a red-yellow head.

Colourful males on the head are fresher than females; the upper scales of the posterior trunk are light blue, or cream-colored, inserted according to the texture of the brown scales; the latter with dark dots inserted as intervals; the lower belly of the upper part of the body light yellow-cream; the lower part of the midbelly to the end of the body purple-brown.

Agile behavior when disturbed, but slow movement on branches, the ability to move on the stem shell due to the ridge of the belly side scales, which are a distinctive feature of snakes that live primarily on trees. The benefits of a long, slender tail are also good at hooking, increasing the potential for small lizard-type prey.
