Wanjuk, an orchid explored in Khao Nan National Park

Researcher's version of the secret story...Known wild orchids. By the National Park Innovation Research and Development Center, Surat Thani Province, it is recommended to another wild orchid, that is, Wanjuk.

This orchid was explored in Khaonan National Park, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, 500 to 700 meters above sea level. It is an orchid on the side. The trunk is underground.

Strip-shaped leaves, pointed slender ends, parallel leaf lines, flutter inflorescence, underground top-out, pointing up, green inflorescence stalks, with intermittent joints covered with pointed bracts.

There are up to 20 or more flowers in the bouquet. Magenta flower ornamental leaves. Folds back. The flowers are purple to magenta. The calyx is ovate-shaped, sharp-tipped, petal-shaped, oval-tipped.

Deep purple and touchy mouth corrugated ears up. Next to the corrugated ears are white tissue blister up to yellow. 2 blister ends, rounded blister ends, laterally spread, white hairy blister ends, bill lobe ends extend long forward to thalamus, tip unfolds in semicircle shape, middle, purple dent concave, pollen shaft protrudes forward, light purple cone, dark purple tip, light purple anther group cover.

Distributed varieties, in the eastern Himalayas, Assam, India, Sri Lanka, Andaman Islands, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Borneo, Java, Malaysia, Sumatra, Molucca, Philippines, Sulawesi, Bismarck Islands, New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Queensland, Australia, Fiji, Niue, New Caledonia, Samoa, Tonga, Vanuatu, Santa Cruz, Wallis and Foona, Caroline Islands, Marianas, Taiwan and Ryukyu.
