Mae Bib Falls is one of the landmarks of Ob Luang National Park that anyone can touch.
Mae Bib Falls is one of the most spectacular waterfalls of Ob Luang National Park, Chiang Mai Province. With a height of more than 80 meters and a width of 40 meters, the watercourse hits the rock to become a sparkling aerosol, refreshing the area around the waterfall throughout the day. At any point, it feels like it is in the midst of pure nature.
The same area is the Mae Teabb Waterfall tent yard, a famous "good view in every corner," because no matter where the tent is set up, tourists can clearly see the waterfall. Open the tent in the morning, there is a waterfall that hits the rock vividly. Sitting and cooking, there is a natural lullaby of the waterfall, or taking pictures to play with, a spectacular view in the background of every frame.
The night atmosphere is another level of finness. The weather is cool, cold, modestly cold, not as cruel as the top of a high altitude, so that you can sleep comfortably. The more you sit and listen to the sound of the waterfall mixed with the light night wind, so that the relaxation is full until you forget the time.
And if you wake up early on a good day, you will see a thin fog, a waterfall, a soft sunshine, and a beautiful image that will be kept in memory for a long time.

📌 Something to know.
There is a limit on the number of tents 40 houses / night (up to 3 people / house).
Get up to 10 Walk-in a day (according to space availability). Tourists can bring their own tent or rent the park without booking or locking the tent spot - arrive first.
Book not less than 2 days in advance. Store the tent before 12: 00 p.m. and start the tent after 1: 00 p.m.

ถ้าใครกำลังหา “น้ำตกแม่ยะ เชียงใหม่” แล้วอยากได้ฟีลใกล้ชิดธรรมชาติแบบตื่นมาเห็นสายน้ำเลย ขอเล่าทริปกางเต็นท์ที่น้ำตกแม่เตี๊ยะ (หลายคนเรียกแม่ยะ) ในอุทยานแห่งชาติออบหลวงแบบสรุปให้ทำตามได้ง่าย ๆ ค่ะ จุดนี้เด่นมากตรงน้ำตกสูงใหญ่ ละอองน้ำฟุ้งทั้งวัน อากาศเย็นสบาย และลานกางเต็นท์เป็นสนามหญ้ากว้าง มองเห็นน้ำตกเป็นฉากหลัง ถ่ายรูปจากในเต็นท์ก็สวยมาก ก่อนเดินทาง แนะนำวางแผนเรื่อง “สัญญาณ” ไว้ก่อนเลย เพราะบริเวณลานกางเต็นท์ไม่มีสัญญาณโทรศัพท์และไฟฟ้า ควรดาวน์โหลดแผนที่ออฟไลน์ เตรียมพาวเวอร์แบงก์ และแจ้งคนที่บ้านล่วงหน้าให้เรียบร้อย ของใช้ที่ช่วยมากคือไฟฉาย/ไฟหัว, ไฟแคมป์, ถุงขยะส่วนตัว และรองเท้าแตะกันลื่นไว้เดินล้างจานหรือเข้าห้องน้ำตอนกลางคืน เรื่องเวลาเข้า-ออกพื้นที่: ปกติเริ่มกางเต็นท์ได้หลัง 13.00 น. และต้องเก็บเต็นท์ก่อน 12.00 น. ดังนั้นถ้าอยากได้จุดมุมดี ๆ ที่เห็นน้ำตกชัด แนะนำไปถึงไวหน่อย เพราะไม่สามารถจองหรือล็อกตำแหน่งกางเต็นท์ได้ (มาถึงก่อนเลือกก่อน) อีกอย่างที่ควรเช็กคือจำนวนเต็นท์จำกัดต่อคืน และมีโควต้า Walk-in ต่อวัน ถ้าไปช่วงหยุดยาวควรจองล่วงหน้าอย่างน้อย 2 วัน จะสบายใจกว่า การเดินทาง: ให้ปักหมุดไป “หน่วยพิทักษ์อุทยานฯ อล.8 (ดอยแก้ว)” ก่อน แล้วขับต่อเข้าไปอีกประมาณ 4 กิโลเมตรก็ถึงบริเวณน้ำตกแม่เตี๊ยะ ทางช่วงท้ายอาจขรุขระเล็กน้อย ควรขับช้า ๆ โดยเฉพาะถ้าฝนตก แนะนำเติมน้ำมันและซื้อของกินให้พร้อมจากตัวเมือง/ร้านระหว่างทาง เพราะด้านในตัวเลือกค่อนข้างน้อย ช่วงเวลาน่าไป: เช้าตรู่คือไฮไลต์มาก ถ้าวันไหนอากาศดีจะเห็นหมอกบาง ๆ คลอเคลียหน้าผาและสายน้ำตก แสงแดดกระทบละอองน้ำสวยแบบตะโกน ส่วนกลางคืนอากาศเย็นพอดี ๆ นอนสบาย ได้ยินเสียงน้ำตกเป็นแบ็กกราวด์ และบางคืนเห็นดาวชัดมาก (ควรพกเสื้อกันหนาวบาง ๆ หรือเสื้อแขนยาวเผื่อไว้) ทริคเล็ก ๆ สำหรับความสบาย: พกเสื่อปูนั่ง/โต๊ะพับเล็ก ๆ จะใช้คุ้มมาก เพราะลานเป็นหญ้า เหมาะกับการนั่งกินข้าวมองน้ำตก และอย่าลืมถุงกันน้ำหรือผ้าคลุม เพราะละอองน้ำตกบางช่วงอาจปลิวมาถึงเต็นท์ ทำให้อุปกรณ์ชื้นได้ง่าย สุดท้าย อยากชวนให้ช่วยกันรักษาพื้นที่: เก็บขยะกลับทั้งหมด ไม่ส่งเสียงดังตอนดึก และระวังลื่นบริเวณหินใกล้น้ำตก เท่านี้ทริป “น้ำตกแม่ยะ/แม่เตี๊ยะ เชียงใหม่” ก็จะเป็นทริปแคมป์ปิ้งที่ประทับใจมาก ๆ ค่ะ
