🍂 "Daogh neighborhood," the golden leaf miracle, the precious wood of the Thaksin forest.
"Daogh neighborhood" (golden leaves) hard vine wood with dense brown velvet hair along the leaf ears, leaf plates, inflorescences and pods, sickle-shaped leaf ears, 1-1.5 cm long, broad oval leaves, almost round, up to 20 cm long, bifurcated up to half deep, round triangular bifurcation tips.
Heart-shaped cones, 5-6 leaf cones on each side, petioles up to 5 cm long, bouquets, short branches, oval buds about 1 cm long, pedicels about 1 cm long, lanceolate ornamental leaves 6-8 mm long, sub-ornamental leaves attached near the base of the flower, calyx 3-5 petals.
White flowers turn cream, pie leaf-shaped petals, 1.5-1.8 cm long, margins, 3 male pollen, slightly longer than the petals, pink anthers, 1-2 sterile male pollen, dense brown furry ovaries, female stamens stalks about 1 cm long, parallel edge-shaped pods 20-23 cm long, stalks about 1.5 cm long, with 4-6 seeds.
It is the only endemic plant in Thailand, found in the lower south at Narathiwat, up in the wetlands, reaching about 300 meters.
