Kick Off "Knocking on the Door" Building Community Consciousness Inviting People
B.C. 8 (Khon Kaen) Integrated with all sectors, Kick Off "knocks on doors," creates community consciousness, invites Khon Kaen residents, stops burning, reduces dust, PM 2.5.
On February 18, 2026, the 8th Conservation Area Administration Bureau (Khon Kaen) organized the Campaign Day Project to Be Free of Wildfire Toxic Smoke, February 24, Annual 2026 and Kick Off Activities, Prevent and Resolve Wildfires, Haze and Small Dust (PM2.5), chaired by the Governor of Khon Kaen Province, along with the Khon Kaen Provincial Natural Resources and Environment Agency, 10th Environmental and Pollution Control Agency, 7th Forest Resource Management Bureau (Khon Kaen), Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Center, District 6, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Agency, Khon Kaen Provincial Agricultural Agency, Local Government Organization, Military, Police, Students, People, and the Guardian Volunteer Network. A total of 500 people attended the event at the Royal Father Thong Thong Teachatammo Community School of Noon on Teacher's Day, Noon Clean District, Chumpa District, Khon Kaen Province.
For organizing the event this time, to make the local public aware of the dangers of toxic fumes, and modify the behaviour of burning forests and fields, to maintain ecological balance and fresh air, as well as to promote joint cooperation in preventing and addressing wildfires and haze.
The activity within the work consists of providing subsidies to the network. In Khon Kaen province localities, provide seedlings to participating departments, provide supplies and support items to forest fire service kit staff, provide scholarships to students, demonstrate the use of forest fire extinguishing tools and initial forest fire prevention and resolution education, organize educational exhibitions from agencies affiliated with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and agencies affiliated with the 8th Conservation Area Administration Bureau (Khon Kaen), and release mobile publicity convoys through the community including door-knocking publicity campaigns in Chumraft district and Phu Pha Curtain district, distribute publicity materials raising awareness of the impact of wildfires to the local public.
