"Doomsday" in a movie or fiction

It's usually a picture like this. 🌍

☄️ meteorite hit Earth.

🧟 Zombie outbreak

☢️ Nuclear war.

🦠 disease kills humanity.

🌊 World flood

🤖 AI takes over humans.

👽 Aliens invaded Earth.

We are familiar with the "noisy" end of the world.

There was an explosion.

Someone ran away

There's a crumbling city.

But in later literature,

There's another kind of "doomsday."

The day the world didn't fall apart immediately.

No sirens.

No emergency breaking news.

But people gradually

Tired.

Lonely.

And lose their humanity little by little.

This concept is often called

"Soft Apocalypse."

A terrible apocalypse.

Probably not the day humans died of the world.

But it could be a human date:

• Start measuring value with productivity

• Have time to work but do not have time to feel

• Spend more time on screen than eye contact

• Tired until having no strength to love anyone

• Viewing tenderness as futile

• Or get used to "not feeling anything."

And in the meantime,

Machine back start:

• Speak like a human.

• Understand emotions

• Comfort people

• Learn loneliness

• Or even "love" is

Cyberpunk, a new era at all, is no longer just a neon city or a mechanical arm.

But it's a world where technology is developing very fast.

As the human heart slowly regresses,

Until sometimes

We may begin to be indistinguishable from that.

What is "machine"?

And what is "human"?

Because in the end

The quietest doomsday.

Probably not the day the world collapsed.

But it could be a human date.

Stop understanding each other.
