Rama 2 is known for its construction that has become a legend, "the road of descent," but for the villagers around it, there is one thing more frightening than traffic jams or dust...That's about the "bunting man."
The night the needle ran
What happened to "Keng," a delivery boy who had to drive through the Rama 2 line at three in the morning to deliver shrimp to the market that night, the drizzle made the visibility terrible. The orange light from the wayside was so dim that the floor of the road was almost invisible.
As he was passing through the construction of the viaduct, he suddenly saw a body sitting on the edge of the unfinished bridge, nearly ten meters above the road.
"Hey! Who's sitting there?" Keng muttered to himself.
A shadow that won't let go.
Good at slowing down the car with suspicion, but when the light of the car came out, the body was not a worker in a reflective suit, but a tall, black, almost dark, wearing only broken shorts.
What excelled him was that the man was frantically beating a pound hammer to the beam, but there was no single impact...And when he realized he was being looked at, the body slowly twisted his neck back 180 degrees, staring brilliantly at his white eyes.
Keng rushed to the end of his life, but no matter how far he drove, he still saw the same man sitting on the next bunting...Next...And next, it's as if this bridge never ends.
The truth hidden under the mortar.
The next morning, Keng told this story to the uncle in charge of the site. Uncle Gunning went for a while before spewing cigarette smoke and said softly:
"Old times...There was a mortar accident on a Burmese worker. "
"His body was dissolved with mortar that was setting. The body could not be found."
"He's not good at smashing bridges...He's trying to smash himself out of that bunting. "
