The order to improve the anti-corruption law requires maximum achievement to reassure investors and the country's image.
The Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Anin Chan Virgul, gave a score on Thailand's corruption awareness index in 2025. Thailand got 33 points and was 116th, down from a year ago. It was considered a relatively low score that could be interpreted as a highly corrupt and low-transparency country, and ordered the Secretary of the Commission to Prevent and Combat Corruption in the Public Sector (P.D.). And Mr. Bhansak Uwanpo, Deputy Prime Minister, accelerates the improvement of laws, procedures, regulations, and re-enactments to make the suppression of corrupt corruption the most effective. The reforms, including those of the approval system, are very important to reassure investors, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and build a positive image for Thailand. It must accelerate the facilitation of authorization and service to the public, and it will accelerate Thailand to become a member of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, thereby raising the standard of transparency in both government and government transactions. เมื่อพูดถึงการปราบปรามทุจริตคอร์รัปชันนั้น ผมเชื่อว่าหลายคนคงเห็นตรงกันว่าเป็นเรื่องที่สำคัญอันดับต้น ๆ ในการพัฒนาประเทศเพื่อเพิ่มความน่าเชื่อถือและดึงดูดนักลงทุนต่างชาติได้อย่างยั่งยืน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในยุคนี้ที่การแข่งขันทางเศรษฐกิจในภูมิภาคและระดับโลกสูงขึ้นมาก จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว ผมได้ติดตามการประกาศของนายกรัฐมนตรีอนุทิน ชาญวีรกูล ที่มีความตั้งใจชัดเจนในการแก้ไขและปรับปรุงกฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการทุจริตอย่างจริงจัง ไม่เพียงแค่ปรับปรุงกฎหมายเท่านั้น แต่ยังรวมถึงการพัฒนากระบวนการทำงานให้เป็นระบบและโปร่งใสมากขึ้น ทั้งนี้จะช่วยลดข้อจำกัดและขั้นตอนที่ซับซ้อนโดยเฉพาะในกระบวนการอนุมัติและการอนุญาตต่าง ๆ ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่มีผลต่อการดำเนินธุรกิจและความเชื่อมั่นของนักลงทุน นอกจากนั้น การผลักดันให้ประเทศไทยเข้าร่วมเป็นสมาชิกขององค์การเพื่อความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและการพัฒนา (OECD) ถือเป็นก้าวสำคัญที่จะช่วยยกระดับมาตรฐานความโปร่งใสทั้งภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนให้เทียบเท่ากับประเทศที่พัฒนาแล้ว ซึ่งจะส่งผลดีในภาพรวมของระบบเศรษฐกิจและเพิ่มโอกาสในการลงทุนอย่างมีคุณภาพ จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวของผม พบว่าการที่กฎหมายและระเบียบในประเทศมีความชัดเจนและปลอดทุจริต จะช่วยสร้างบรรยากาศการทำงานที่ดีให้กับทุกฝ่าย โดยเฉพาะผู้ประกอบการรายย่อยซึ่งมีส่วนสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจฐานราก การที่รัฐบาลสนับสนุนแนวคิด One Stop Service จะทำให้การติดต่อราชการไม่ยุ่งยาก และช่วยลดปัญหาความล่าช้า ซึ่งก็เป็นปัจจัยที่จะช่วยเพิ่มความพร้อมในการแข่งขันของภาคธุรกิจไทยให้สูงขึ้น ท้ายที่สุด ผมเชื่อว่าการเดินหน้าปรับปรุงกฎหมายต้านทุจริตในครั้งนี้ หากสามารถดำเนินการได้อย่างจริงจังและมีประสิทธิภาพ จะทำให้ประเทศไทยมีภาพลักษณ์ที่ดีในเวทีโลก ทั้งในแง่ของความน่าเชื่อถือและศักยภาพทางเศรษฐกิจ ซึ่งจะช่วยสร้างแรงดึงดูดให้นักลงทุนทั้งในและต่างประเทศเข้ามามากขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง
