"Trinuch" prepares to open the European job market, help Thais with jobs, "Pom." Cooperate, strengthen skills, build careers for people with disabilities.
Luisa Ragher, the EU's Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary to Thailand, met with the Minister of Labour, Miss Trinush Tianthong, to discuss the drive for cooperation.
In the field of labour between Thailand and the European Union, the Ministry of Labour has also moved forward with five main policies and labour urgency: 1. Solving labour shortages; 2. Upgrading and increasing skills (Upskills / Reskill). Let Thai workers keep pace with technology, increase employment opportunities through the "Thai people need to have a job" mission; 3. Promoting labour welfare and security in life; 4. Create opportunities for Thai workers to have a job; 5. Taking advantage of technology, which has highlighted the good relationship between Thailand and the European Union, especially the close labour in many frameworks, such as the Labour Dialogue and DG EMPL, which Thailand will host the 4th Thailand-EU High Level Conference on Labour on March 11 - 12, 2026, and is ready to develop joint labour cooperation in the future, raise labour standards to meet international standards, increase opportunities for Thai workers to enter the EU job market. The government also promotes careers to make money for people with disabilities by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security together with the company. The Oath Council Limited continues to provide opportunities, create careers for people with disabilities in Year 4, develop careers that are aligned with their individual potential, as well as ongoing evaluation monitoring to enable people with disabilities to make money and become self-reliant in the long run. Throughout the three years (2023 - 2025), it has helped support over 615 people with disabilities to pursue careers, or 80 percent in 10 provinces, reflecting achievements that connect skills development to local economic opportunities and sustainable careers.

ในฐานะที่เป็นแรงงานไทยคนหนึ่ง ผมรู้สึกดีใจมากกับนโยบายล่าสุดที่กระทรวงแรงงานนำโดยนางสาวตรีนุช เทียนทอง ที่ร่วมมือกับสหภาพยุโรปและภาคเอกชนอย่างโอสถสภา เพื่อเปิดตลาดงานในยุโรปและเพิ่มทักษะคนไทยอย่างจริงจัง ผ่านการ Upskill และ Reskill ที่สำคัญคือการสร้างโอกาสให้คนพิการได้มีอาชีพที่เหมาะสมกับศักยภาพของตัวเอง ผมเคยผ่านประสบการณ์ทำงานที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากวิกฤตเศรษฐกิจและเทคโนโลยีที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว ทำให้เห็นความจำเป็นมากขึ้นที่จะต้องพัฒนาตนเองอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อให้ทันต่อความต้องการตลาดงานในปัจจุบันและอนาคต การที่รัฐบาลเตรียมเปิดตลาดงานในยุโรปนั้นจึงถือว่าเป็นโอกาสสำคัญสำหรับแรงงานไทย เพราะจะได้ขยายโอกาสการจ้างงานและได้แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์การทำงานกับนานาชาติ นอกจากนี้ โครงการร่วมมือกับโอสถสภาในการเสริมทักษะและสร้างอาชีพสำหรับคนพิการเป็นจุดที่ผมชื่นชมมาก เพราะเป็นการช่วยให้กลุ่มคนที่อาจได้รับโอกาสน้อยกว่าทำให้สามารถเป็นคนพึ่งพาตนเอง สร้างรายได้ และรู้สึกภาคภูมิใจในศักยภาพของตนเอง ซึ่งในช่วง 3 ปีที่ผ่านมา มีคนพิการกว่า 615 คน ที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนและอบรมจนสามารถมีอาชีพที่มั่นคง ถือเป็นความสำเร็จที่ชัดเจนของนโยบายนี้ เรื่องนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นว่าการพัฒนาทักษะและการสร้างอาชีพควรมีความครอบคลุมและแตกต่างเพื่อความเหมาะสมตามศักยภาพของแต่ละบุคคล ผมเชื่อว่าแผนงานนี้ไม่เพียงแต่จะช่วยลดปัญหาการขาดแคลนแรงงานในประเทศ แต่ยังช่วยยกระดับมาตรฐานแรงงาน รวมทั้งเสริมสร้างความมั่นคงในชีวิตแรงงานไทยทุกกลุ่ม โดยเฉพาะคนพิการที่ได้โอกาสเท่าเทียมมากขึ้นในตลาดแรงงานทั้งในและต่างประเทศ สุดท้าย ผมอยากแนะนำให้แรงงานไทยทุกคนติดตามและใช้โอกาสจากนโยบายนี้อย่างเต็มที่ เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะและเพิ่มโอกาสการจ้างงานซึ่งจะช่วยเพิ่มคุณภาพชีวิตและสร้างอนาคตที่ยั่งยืนให้กับตัวเองและครอบครัวอย่างแท้จริง
