The PM, the 4Strategy Driven General Conference, aims to compete in the top 20 in the world.

The Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Mr. Anin Chan Weegul, chaired the 1st / 2026 meeting of the Joint Public and Private Committee to Problem Economic Problems (Gros.), bringing proposals from discussions with the private sector into the mechanism. To formulate concrete action plans, goals and follow-up. Under 4 key areas are: 1) developing new national investment, 2) developing trade, tourism and community economy, 3) upgrading human resources and technological development, and 4) developing business facilitation, aiming to drive economic growth above 3%, upgrading national competitiveness to the top 20 in the world within 4 years, and moving towards becoming a high-income country within 12 years, coupled with maintaining discipline, fiscal finance and economic stability, with targeted and issue-driven frameworks. The four strategic areas are: 1. On the development of national reinvestment; 2. On the development of trade; tourism and community economy; 3. On the upgrading of human resources and technological development; 4. The development of business facilitation, and the Prime Minister assigned a mission to four subcommittees responsible for pushing key issues into action, setting clear goals, indicators, and implementation plans, with a progress report to the General every two months, according to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. It will be an important engine for the Thai economy by enabling the private sector to play a more intensive role in investing, innovating, creating jobs and connecting Thailand to the global market, while the public sector will accelerate unlocking restrictions, putting in place infrastructure, making bureaucratic work faster and supporting more competition.
