Progress over perfection!✨
Hey everyone! 👋 So many of you have been asking about my weight loss journey, especially since I started incorporating GLP-1. Honestly, it's been a wild ride, but one thing I’ve learned is that it's all about progress over perfection. Every small step counts, and that's the mindset I've embraced for my #baddiehealth. For those curious about GLP-1, it's been a significant tool for me in managing hunger and cravings, which were always my biggest hurdles. However, it's not a magic bullet, and it definitely comes with its own learning curve. I've personally experienced some initial GLP-1 side effects like nausea and slight fatigue. My tip? Stay super hydrated, eat smaller, more frequent meals, and definitely listen to your body. Don't push yourself if you're NOT FEELING GREAT; sometimes a rest day is what you truly need. Always chat with your doctor to make sure you're on the right track! When it comes to a GLP-1 diet plan, I've found that focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods works best. Think lean protein, plenty of fruits and veggies, and complex carbs. It helps keep me full and energized, and minimizes any discomfort. I try to limit processed foods, as they tend to make me feel sluggish. It’s not about strict restrictions, but more about mindful choices that support my body and energy levels. Now, let's talk about baddie health tips and what that means to me. It's about feeling empowered, strong, and confident in your own skin. It's about showing up for yourself, whether that's in the gym or in your daily life. And part of that is being mindful of your environment and others, especially if you're hitting the gym for weight loss. This brings me to gym etiquette for weight loss – something I think everyone should practice. Being CLEANSIDERATE is key! Always remember to CLEAN BETWEEN PRACTICE; wipe down your equipment after you use it. Nobody wants to find your sweat marks. When you're engaging in SOCIAL FITNESSING, be aware of others' personal space. And if you're feeling under the weather, remember that ONE THUMB BEATS A HIGH-FIVE – a fist bump or a simple nod is perfectly acceptable to avoid spreading germs. Before and AFTER WORKING OUT, take the time to properly warm up and cool down, and don't forget hygiene like showering. I also like to SCRUD UP (which to me means getting mentally and physically prepared) before my workouts to ensure I'm focused and ready. How to stay motivated for weight loss? For me, it's a mix of celebrating small victories, tracking my progress (even if it's just noticing I can lift a little more or walk a bit further), and reminding myself why I started. There will be days you feel like giving up, but those are the days you choose progress over perfection. Keep going, you got this!
