DOVE x Crumbl deodorant review: EHHH…
I have been seeing all over Lemon8 of the Dove collaboration with Crumbl that is sold at Walmart.
I have been into very gourmet yummy deodorant since ever since I purchased the Dove Fall ‘24 limited edition for deodorant, which I am kicking myself that I did not buy more .
Let me just say first off I’m not really sold on the hype that I am seeing for this collection. It does not smell bad, but the smells are very weak; I am not sure that the texture of deodorant is the reason why because it is more of a solid gel instead of a white powder gel that Dove is normally know for.
These were like $6-7 each which is not bad in price. I did not bother buying a body care of this collection simply because I have so much body care that I need to go through and I wanted to see if I was going to like the deodorant first anyway.
But that said, let me give my review for each deodorant .
🍓 Strawberry Crumb Cake: Rating 6/10
I was highly disappointed when I first smelled this because the scent is so extremely light and I was hoping for a very strong strawberry gourmet scent . Again it does not smell bad. I just wish it was stronger and actually had more of a crumb smell to it.
🎂 Confetti Cake: Rating 8.5/10
Now this one is a lot more stronger and sent than a strawberry crumb cake and I actually do like this one a lot however it does have a very strange after smell that I wonder if it is not from the plastic cap that was on top of it. This does smell like a cake, which is yummy, but it has a little flaws
🍋 Lemon Glaze: Rating 9/10
Now this one for me is my favorite out of the three surprisingly because I’m really a strawberry girl, but I guess it is what it is. This definitely smell like a lemon pound cake which I do love to eat and it is the strongest in scent. This could go well with Bath & Body Works Iced Lemon Pound Cake collection if you have it!
Overall, these deodorants are OK and sent, the price is pretty nice, but I think Dove has other options that are way greater in smell. The only thing that I will need to be aware of is if they can hold 72 hours worth.
