How to Draw Hands from a Side/Profile Perspective

When you're looking at a hand from the side, you'll notice how the heel of the palm is often thicker, tapering towards the fingers. Really observing this triangular block helps prevent your hand drawings from looking flat or flimsy. Think of it as a spatial guide, giving volume and depth right from the start.
