🥭 Homemade Mango Sorbet for all your spring and summer parties!! Recipe 👇🏼 Homemade is better - you can’t convince me otherwise! 3 ingredients is all you need! Nice and thick!
Recipe:
Mango chunks - fresh or frozen
3/4 Cup water if frozen / 1/4 Cup of water if fresh
1 TBS Condensed milk
Blend in blender
Pour in container
Freeze for 24 hours
Put in Ninja on full / sorbet setting
Pull out and you will see it’s not ready. I did not add any additional liquid to keep it as solid as possible.
Respin
Pull out
If yours is like mine, then do one more full run on the sorbet setting
Done and enjoy!
Final Notes / Tips:
I used 2 cups of frozen mango and initially added in 1/2 cup of water. My blender would not blend, so I added more until it would blend a nice thick consistency. Add a little water each time, so you don’t overdo it. 2 cups of blended mangoes did not fill my Ninja CREAMi container to the max line, but for the sake of time, I froze it and moved on. If you choose, go ahead and blend enough mangoes until you fill the container. Also, if you’re using fresh mangoes, then a little water will go a long way in the blender! Final tip, if you prefer to add a liquid on the respin, then you can try adding in some lemon juice or coconut water. This will soften it up quicker and may not require that last full run. However, I wanted it as thick as possible, so wanted to avoid adding extra liquids. I hope this helps!

Making mango sorbet at home is such a rewarding experience because it’s fresh, natural, and customizable. Using frozen mango chunks makes it super convenient, especially when mangoes are out of season. One key tip I've found helpful is to gradually add the water while blending—too much liquid can make the sorbet icy rather than creamy. The condensed milk adds a perfect touch of sweetness and smoothness without overpowering the mango's natural flavor. When using the Ninja CREAMi or a similar ice cream maker, patience is essential. The sorbet might seem too solid at first, but multiple rounds of spinning help achieve a creamy texture. If you prefer a slightly softer sorbet sooner, incorporating a splash of lemon juice or coconut water during the respin can accelerate the process while adding a subtle tang or tropical twist. For gatherings, this mango sorbet is a fantastic choice because it’s dairy-light and naturally fruity—great for guests with dietary preferences. You can even experiment by adding mint or a touch of chili powder for an exciting flavor twist. Homemade mango sorbet is not just a summer treat; it’s an easy way to enjoy fresh fruit in a cool, satisfying form. Give this recipe a try, and you might find it becomes your go-to summer dessert!
