what expensive makeup product that you regret😳👀
I’m a total makeup lover!! I love to buy and try out new products all the time. I especially love to try out expensive products because most of the time they end up being amazing.
Here are some products I’ve tried that have been a disappoint to me.
Hermes eyeshadow palette, I’ve used this one a few times but it’s such an average palette. For how expensive it was I was expecting luxurious and amazing formulas but nope.
Chanel eyeshadow palette, again this eyeshadow palette is mid to me. The formula feels like an average eyeshadow that you can get from any other palette.
Tom ford lip oil, this in the beginning was super pretty but overtime the product got gross looking. I’ll still use it but I wish it didn’t look like that because it doesn’t make me want to use it.😂
Let me know what expensive product you regret buying!!

When it comes to investing in luxury makeup, many of us hope to find products that justify their high price tags through incredible quality and performance. However, as some discovered, not all expensive makeup lives up to the hype. For example, the Hermes eyeshadow palette may boast an enviable brand name and beautiful shades, but its formula has been found by many to be just average, lacking the luxurious feel and pigmentation expected at that price point. Similarly, Chanel’s eyeshadow palettes, while elegant in packaging and shade selection, can sometimes deliver underwhelming results compared to more affordable competitors. The texture might feel dry or chalky, making blending and layering a challenge, which can be disappointing for makeup lovers who expect flawless application. The Tom Ford lip oil brings another unique case. Initially admired for its glossy finish and attractive appearance, some users noticed the product changing color or developing an unappetizing look over time, reducing their desire to use it despite its pleasant feel on the lips. These factors highlight an important aspect of luxury makeup shopping: the longevity and consistency of the product after opening. Before investing in pricey makeup items, it’s wise to seek out multiple user reviews and test samples whenever possible. High cost doesn’t always guarantee superior quality, and personal preferences play a huge role in satisfaction. Moreover, understanding ingredients, formula wear, and packaging durability can save you from later regrets. Sharing your own experiences with expensive makeup products that didn’t meet your expectations can help others make more informed decisions and encourage brands to maintain quality standards. That Dior lip oil that was all the rage a couple years ago, was very underwhelming
