Am I ready for a baby?
I’ve been talking to my husband about us having children or when we should start having children because we both want to.
Every time we go on the subject of children I sometimes tend to get a little bit depressed because I do want to have a child and I feel as though we are in state to have a child. My husband, of course, doesn’t wanna have a child this year because of everything that’s going on in our life. Right now I’ve had like three deaths in the family back to back and his dad is currently sick.
I just know that if we don’t start having children soon, then we’re only probably gonna have one child.
I’ve been told that I would be an amazing mother and I absolutely love babies and children, but I feel as though that my husband doesn’t want to have kids for the next one to two years.
This is totally fine for me. It’s just more of the fact that I’m afraid of us starting a bit late and we already had the discussion that once I turned 30 I’m not having more children and I’m currently 24.

As a woman, having the want for a child can be much greater than a man’s want. I say wait a few months, travel, enjoy child free life, then revisit. I know women who have literally left their men bc they wanted another child. See what other reasons he is stalling. It could be something deeper that’s an easy fix🤷🏽♀️
