✨Rating Sabrina Carpenter’s Perfume Line✨
This is my first time posting and I wanted to review Sabrina Carpenter’s Sweet Tooth perfume line. This is the first line of perfumes that I have bought them all because I loved the original Sweet Tooth.
I think that OG Sweet Tooth is a popular scent for a reason. In the age of gourmand being popular this scent is an affordable delicious marshmallow. Upon the initial spray, you get the bergamot and ginger notes, but they fade out very quickly and the scent dries to a more vanilla smell with the marshmallow and cream notes popping out. I cannot smell the chocolate note at all, maybe a little on the dry down but it smells more like vanilla and musk to me. I like to pair it with Eilish No. 1 and have gotten a lot of compliments on it :) I really wish it lasted longer.

Caramel Dream is a really nice twist on Sweet Tooth, and I prefer to to the OG. It is spicy from the jump, and I feel like it is more unisex than the original. The orange and lemon jumps out immediately, and then it settles into something very similar to Eilish No.1, which I also pair it with. I think it doesn’t really smell like caramel, and the vanilla stands out more. I also smell the orchid and patchouli on the dry down. When it is fully dried down I smell the caramel the most, but there is so much with it I don’t think it truly smells like caramel. Once again I miss the chocolate note, but it is such a nice scent. Once again wishing it lasted longer.

Cherry Baby is unfortunately my least favorite of the three. I will admit maybe I’m not the biggest on cherry perfumes, but I really was hoping to love it with how I loved the other two. In the bottle and initially it really does smell nice. It is the only one I can smell the chocolate note in and also the only one that lasts for a somewhat significant amount of time. However the dry down is not pleasing to me. You can still smell the chocolate, but it almost smells like plastic chocolate calculator. Then the dried down cherry kinda gives cough syrup, so I feel the scent gives off a cheap artificial smell. A different dry down could really save this perfume.

Overall I really enjoy this line, amazing smells but I just think they could last longer, and Cherry Baby could use a different dry down. Definitely worth it for the price!

So, I’ve picked up a few tricks to help these beautiful fragrances last longer on my skin. Always apply them right after moisturizing – an unscented lotion creates a perfect base for the perfume to cling to. Spraying on pulse points and even a light spritz on your clothes (just be careful with delicate fabrics!) can really extend that delicious vanilla and marshmallow cloud. For Caramel Dream (my 8.7/10 spicy-sweet favorite), I sometimes spritz it on my hair for an extra waft throughout the day. Speaking of extending the scent, layering is a game-changer! The original article mentioned pairing Sweet Tooth with Eilish No.1, which is brilliant for enhancing those creamy, musky undertones. Imagine amplifying that marshmallow and vanilla from the OG or bringing out the darker chocolate notes many of us search for, even in the Cherry Baby. They offer those sought-after sweet, dessert-like scent notes – hello vanilla and marshmallow! – without breaking the bank. Even though Cherry Baby (which I rated 6.5/10, noting its dry down sometimes smells like cherry cough syrup/plasticky) wasn't my top pick, the overall quality for the price is undeniable. For those who love collecting or trying new scents, keep an eye out for mini perfume sets or rollerballs if you see them. They're perfect for travel or just to try out the different variations before committing to a full bottle.
