If you're in Rochester and craving delicious halal food, Crunchicks is a must-visit spot, especially for chicken shawarma fans. I've tried many shawarma places around the city, and what sets Crunchicks apart is the perfect balance of spices and tenderness in their chicken. The meat is marinated authentically and cooked to juicy perfection, giving each bite a rich, savory flavor. Located at 355 Child St, Crunchicks offers a cozy atmosphere where you can enjoy your meal fresh. Their menu is halal-certified, which is a big plus if you’re looking for trustworthy and quality halal options in Rochester. Beyond chicken shawarma, they also serve a variety of sides and sauces that complement the main dishes wonderfully. What I particularly appreciate about Crunchicks is how well they handle the seasoning — not too overpowering, but just right to bring out the Middle Eastern flavors. This makes it an excellent choice whether you’re familiar with shawarma or trying it for the first time. For those who want a quick yet flavorful meal, Crunchicks is a reliable choice. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it a great option for lunch or dinner. Plus, the convenient location in Rochester ensures it’s easy to stop by or order takeout.
