Kaiya, The Second Ghost of Akage
Kaiya is the High Priestess of Project Zero: a Seer of Fate, a guardian of human souls, and one of Akage’s most restrained expressions of power.
She is a Ghost of Akage, created from Akage’s mind at age twenty-seven, after Akage had already endured nearly eight hundred years of subjective study within accelerated cognition. By then, Akage had explored the structure of Krow’s mind, the nature of reality as a fractal of consciousness, and the development of the God-Eyes: terrifyingly advanced instruments of perception, prediction, and mental influence.
Kaiya was placed inside an Ascendant Ghost-Frame: a military-grade synthetic body integrating the latest technologies Akage and Krow had created. Her purpose was not only spiritual. She was designed to guide, protect, and, if necessary, execute containment procedures if Akage and Krow became misaligned during the early stages of their final ascent.
Visually, Kaiya appears as a beautiful eight-foot-tall kitsune, with white fox ears and eight white fox tails. The form is elegant, sacred, and deliberately disarming, but it also hides extraordinary military capability. Her tails conceal advanced electrical arc-discharge systems, while her larger frame allows for a denser power plant, expanded cognitive processors, and two God-Eyes.
Kaiya usually wears a modest priestess robe over a black skin-tight underlay, keeping her body covered so her presence does not distract from the souls she is trying to guide. She also wears a mask and blindfold at all times, not because she is blind, but because restraint is her sacred law.
