Life has looked a little different this week.
A snowstorm knocked out power and electricity, and opened my home to my grandma, auntie, and dad while things get restored. You might catch a suitcase slightly out of place, a rhythm that feels a bit different and that’s simply real life happening in real time.
It’s been an adjustment, yes, shared space, new flow, learning flexibility on the spot but I’m deeply grateful that I was able to open my home and provide warmth, shelter, and stability when it was needed. That’s not something I overlook or take lightly.
I’m not in a place of lack or frustration ….I’m in a place of capacity.
Capacity to give.
Capacity to hold space.
Capacity to remain grounded and myself even when life shifts.
This moment isn’t about inconvenience…. it’s about gratitude, compassion, and recognizing how far I’ve come. To be able to offer safety from a place of abundance is a blessing, and I honor that fully.
