So many exciting twists and turns. Sapir Englard created a level of intrigue by making the threat within a mind game this time, weaving in and out of our story. I loved that it wasn’t brute force our cast of characters were up against. But I’m telling you there is a part in the book where Whoopi Goldberg from the move Ghost said in my head “girl, you’re in danger” and my instincts did NOT disappoint. I was sad to see a little bit of fracturing happening within our group, but that’s what makes it such a good book is that we didn’t miss the part between books where there is a fracture but in the next book we gloss over it, nope this one started at that fracture and AUTHOR let us watch it spiderweb across the glass. We have to remember Sienna was 19 in book one so it is relatable that she would still be struggling with finding her footing in this new position as Luna. We are allowed to witness all our characters flaws and that is part of what makes a good book great. I enjoyed that we got more characters POVs in this novel too, it gives us a chance to fall more in love with them. Each new glimpse giving us more layers weaving together to make the story feel whole. Cannot wait to start the next novel, because the end of this one is a juicy cliffhanger!!
