Klang.io launched Transcription Studio, an AI tool for transcribing music to notes, with the hallmark of being able to analyze and remove notes from multiple instruments simultaneously from a single music file.

Transcription Studio works by bringing audio or video files to the AI system to detect song elements such as melody, chords, and instrument lines before separating them into notes of each par, allowing musicians to see the structure of the song more clearly, even for songs with multiple instruments.

Users can bring audio files to the system for multiple forms of analysis, such as uploading audio files, recording them into the system, or using links from online videos to allow the AI to process and create music notes.

After the system generates notes, users can also edit more details before exporting files, supporting multiple formats such as PDF for Music Notes, MIDI, MusicXML, and Guitar Pro files for further application in music-making programs or note-writing software.

A Plugin (VST3 / AU) version is also available for use within the DAW, with the system able to detect up to about 8 instruments, with multiple analytical modes such as Universal, Classic and Rock.
