Our master bath toilet situation
Looking for something other than a slide & swing door yet wanting to save space? Read on!
Our toilets are on the small side, yet I didn't want a slide and swing door mainly because I've never had a good impression of the finicky mechanism that requires you to slide one panel all the way before the door could be swung to one side. I've preferred either a full sliding door or a full swing door.
Unfortunately with our small toilet, the options were limited. Yet I'm grateful after searching and trying a few types, we did a non-synchronised French door where either doors could open independently and more importantly, allll the way till they kissed the walls thus saving space and not obstructing the inner area at the same time! Refer to the 3rd photo and you can see the reflection of how our doors could be folded so flatly against the wall.
Instead of going with the standard white louvre type, we went with a sandblasted reeded glass panel too.
