Falling in love ✨

I believe that falling in love is a rare experience and one of the most raw emotions you can feel. It embodies a vulnerable sensation where your heart opens up, often overpowering your brain's common sense. Love is when you fully engage your heart, granting it the freedom it craves.

Regardless of how challenging the journey may be, you pursue what you love Without hesitation, even if it seems foolish or naive. If I had my way, I would be in love for my entire life. I view the world through rose-colored glasses, noticing and cherishing the little things. My life is driven by this powerful sense of emotion; I cannot exist without it, no matter how hard I try to ignore its presence.

I tend to fall in love with many things, often too quickly.

Unfortunately, most of these infatuations | fade swiftly-not because my feelings diminish, but because they depart. As much as I wish to admire their beauty indefinitely, the reality is that such moments are rare

Occasionally, that one profound love endures, but it remains at a distance. I may still catch glimpses of its beauty from afar, yet I acknowledge my own selfishness-| often choose to leave on my own terms. I struggle with the notion of loving something from a distance, especially when I cannot fully appreciate its inner beauty. If I cannot prove my own worth to what I love, I too will walk away. At times, I find myself questioning whether I truly deserve such love. 🎀

... Read moreYou might have noticed a few pairs of my favorite high-top sneakers peeking out in the photos from my recent reflections on love and vulnerability. Honestly, they're more than just shoes to me; they're companions on my journey, often grounding me in moments of profound thought or simple joy. I've had a few of you ask, 'what shoes are these?' so I wanted to share a little more about them, and why they effortlessly fit into my world of cherishing the 'little things.' First up, those classic black high-tops with crisp white laces you see resting in the vibrant green grass. They're a timeless staple, incredibly versatile, and honestly, they just feel like 'me.' I picked them up during a spontaneous trip to a local boutique – I wasn't even looking for new shoes, but the moment I tried them on, I knew. It was one of those instant connections, much like falling for a beautiful moment. They're incredibly comfortable for long walks when I'm out observing the world, and they pair perfectly with pretty much anything, from casual jeans to more flowy dresses, adding a touch of laid-back cool. They remind me that sometimes, the most profound beauty can be found in simplicity and practicality. I won't name the exact brand, but look for well-cushioned soles and sturdy canvas if you're hunting for a similar vibe – trust me, your feet will thank you! Then there are the pretty pink high-top sneakers. These are a bit more playful, a splash of color that brightens my day, much like finding a wild daisy in a field. They were a gift, and they instantly became a symbol of embracing joy and not taking life too seriously. There’s something about slipping into a pair of bright shoes that just elevates my mood. They're my go-to for those days when I need a little extra pep in my step, or when I'm just feeling extra optimistic about the world. Like my black pair, they’re surprisingly comfortable, which is a must for me. I believe that what we wear, right down to our shoes, can truly reflect our inner state and even influence it. These pink beauties are a constant reminder to appreciate the small, beautiful things around me, to find joy in everyday moments, and to always approach life with an open heart – even if it means sometimes walking away from things that no longer serve my highest good. So, while my poem delves into the deeper, more vulnerable aspects of love, these sneakers represent another facet of it: the love for life itself, for comfort, for style, and for the simple, tangible objects that bring us a quiet sense of happiness. They're little anchors of beauty that help me navigate my emotional landscape with a bit more ease and a lot more style. What shoes tell your story?
