Women are open to LGBTQ +, right?
I watched the series, put on a necklace, and talked to my female friends about female love without thinking, and at first it was a normal conversation until she said, "Watch the male love series, it feels cute, but if it's a female love, it's not okay."
Seriously, I've heard this sentence many times, enough to start to feel that it's not just about "like or dislike" as a person watching the series, it's about how women have been seen as children.
Many women grow up in a society that makes being a woman seem to be evaluated at all times, from face to personality to tone to lifestyle. Everything seems to be scored unconsciously, even if they grow up with the words "love yourself" or "women have to support women." The feeling that they are being viewed, compared, or judged is still deeply attached to many people.
When a woman looks at the love between men, it looks far enough away from herself to eat without defending herself, but when a woman loves a woman, everything immediately gets closer, because this time a woman is looking at another woman as "someone who is worth being loved" without a man as an intermediary.
I think... this society is not used to that picture.
We see women as the object of love for a long time, but rarely do women choose from each other, want each other, or create their own world without a man in the middle.
Many people do not hate girls, but they just feel unfamiliar, and sometimes humans automatically push things that they are unfamiliar with first. Even if they grow up in a society that almost never makes love between women seem common, this kind of awkwardness becomes easier.
I think this change of attitude doesn't start with telling who's wrong or who's bullied, because the more people feel they're being judged, the sooner they shut up.
Making people ask themselves what the feeling of "not being okay" really comes from not really liking or not being taught to be familiar with this image.
However, authors like me believe that love between women is not more complicated than other forms of love, it is only two people who want someone to return to their tired days.
